Dr. Paul Alaje is a leading Nigerian economist, economic policy strategist, researcher, and public intellectual with more than 15 years of experience in macroeconomic analysis, fiscal and monetary policy, financial economics, economic development, structural transformation, and strategic economic advisory.

He is the Chief Economist & Partner at SPM Professionals, where he leads economic research, policy analysis and strategic advisory engagements, providing high-level economic intelligence and evidence-based perspectives to governments, institutions, businesses and other decision-makers. Dr. Alaje holds a PhD in Economics from Nile University of Nigeria and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Financial Management from Rushford Business School. He also holds an MPhil from Nile University of Nigeria, a Master of Science (MSc) in Accounting and Finance, with Merit, from the University of Chichester, and a BSc in Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University.
